Apple Watch’s Now Playing Issue

I’m currently using iPhone 12 Pro Max with Apple Watch series 3. Recently I just updated my watch OS to 7.5, and since then i have experiencing an issue with the Now Playing feature. I can not see what is being played in my iPhone in my Apple Watch. Is it a bug or glitch? So, how do I solve this issue? Thanks a lot!

Some other folks have reported similar issue too. I recommend toggling the Auto-Launch Audio Apps option OFF and then back ON, in the Watch app on the iPhone, under Settings > General > Wake Screen. Check also that Now Playing itself is enabled down there too - the Return to App toggle.

You could also try if adding a Now Playing complication on the watch face helps to trigger that launch.

With the S3 I have also found that it can take a while for Now Playing to appear. Overall performance is simply not so smooth and responsive as with the later models.
