My mother had the misfortune to get something very annoying on her iPad, and when I say "annoying" I mean it interferes with every one of her browsing sessions, no matter where she goes. Attached image is what it looks like (it's always a different link). This something needs to go, and I hope someone here knows a permanent solution. Don't want to go to the Apple Store just for this.

Yup removing the spam calendar account will fix it.

That looks like it may work, but I find it strange the article mentions the phone only. If the iPad is essentially the same machine, they should have used iPhone/iPad.

The article did not take into consideration iPad's OS is ever slightly different from the smartphone. I did manage to figure out a similar solution.
