PHYSICAL card #

Hi I am in desperate need of trying to figure out my new Apple credit card the physical card number I know about the online number in the Apple Pay number etc. and I know the last four digits of the physical card number but that’s all I can figure out I’ve talked to Goldman Sachs and I’m just talking in circles with those fools has anyone figured this out or needed to find out how because the IRS won’t let me go in my account until I can verify my identity and Apparently they know the last eight digits on my credit card that I have no clue I’m assuming they’ve got it off my credit report somewhere that I can’t physically see myself , so anyone who can help I appreciate it I’m going nuts and def spent way too much time on this thank you, And yes I definitely understand that it’s encrypted and they don’t want us to have it that’s probably for security reasons so that they don’t have to ever replace this awesome platinum card and I don’t even want the whole number I just want the last eight digits so I can get into my account on irs.com this is crazy thank you —— Hollyray328

Here is an article that describes the three numbers Apple/Goldman Sachs generates.

It sounds to me more like the IRS got the “temporary” number generated when you paid/charged an item with the IRS.

The number that the IRS has is probably the number locked away in your iPhones Secure Enclave.

Its just a guess but from other articles I’ve read I doubt the IRS (or Goldman) has the number. I really doubt a credit report has the number. How secure would that be considering recent breaches.

Oh and just for clarification I’ve never use my credit card with the IRS I haven’t use my online account in years and so they want me to re-verify my identity and they will do a soft credit check and I had to give them the last eight digits of one of my credit cards to pass this verification . I have three credit cards with 2 of them I’m an authorized user on and it kept saying those numbers weren’t valid/ didn’t work , then all my combinations of eight digits from any Apple credit card numbers I found , also didn’t work , so that’s why my only conclusion, which is obviously just my edumacated guess - is that somehow they obtained the last eight digits of the actual digital physical credit card , that I only know lady 4 of but who knows ?!?!? Who has a clue what Goldman Sachs actually send the credit scoring companies when they alert them someone’s opening a new account , well

Probably at a minimal a fourth different credit card number tied to me, LOL Which after all this diarrhea of the mouth should’ve been my only question ever today ……. Phooey, should of COUKD of would of said straight to Goldman Sachs - what information do you supply about me to the Equifax etc of the world ????

**** I could’ve just saved myself hours of frustration and headaches well if anybody gets THAT answer let me know peace out y’all

Thanks for your thoughtful reply, it’s obvious You actually read what my questions were and issues I’m having etc because I’m so tired of people trying to ANSWER My question or a 100 other questions worded a bit differently but wanting the same information and 150 responses on this forum are just stock generic responses that literally don’t make any sense in response to the questions asked - obviously I’m talking about ALL THE oh just go to go to Wallet app and click on your Apple Card Next don’t forget there’s three little dots in the right hand corner easy Peezy lemon squeezy, lastly CLICK on - card information, AND BOOOOOM u have Magically Found ur full card number , one that u couldn’t of ever missed Yadi dotti dada blah blah blah- yes we already all know this , AND WE KNOW ITS NOT THE SAME AS PHYSICAL CARD #!- sorry I just went down a several hour rabbit hole reading all these responses trying to figure this out and I am a little peeved not to mention the 25 minute waste of life with the Goldman Sachs representative who was just answering the same no matter what I said until something finally clicked or a human came on or some thing and she finally said oh right so yeah there is one - it’s just not accessible to us …….because the only thing she had been telling me is that it didn’t exist that my credit card didn’t have an actual credit card number, just those 4 digits , so that conversation was a joy but I guess I’m coming to the realization that it is never going to be possible at least now to get this information….

Ill probably have to freaking call the IRS to see how else they wanna verify my identity because I’m authorized users on all my other credit cards and those apparently aren’t good enough to verify my identity this is such a joke oh boy well hopefully with all these new features being added like my family Apple credit card and then they’re going to be releasing in July another feature where 2 separate Apple credit card holders can merge their accounts to attain a higher limit etc. so hopefully in the future if we choose to jeopardize our account and see our own physical card information maybe they be will let us or hopefully at least at least wait not scratch and forget that , I’ll find another way to do IRS VERRIFICATION BUTTTTTT hopefully they will let us Have the FUTURE option to get cash advances !!!!! anyhow I think I’ve rambled quite enough …… but if anyone ever does find a hack to get the physical cc # yesss please dear God please please please please please for my sanity let me know help me out and let me in on the secret ( my last idea I’m not gonna mess with right now but maybe tomorrow or something is somehow maybe thru MasterCard themselves ) but anyways thanks everybody take care
