MacBook Air tries to log off from sleep mode
Every time I open up my MBA from sleep mode, I get a dialogue box asking me to log off. This is very annoying. How do I stop it? I'm running Big Sur.

Hi LalitaX,
We see you're having an issue with being prompted to log out of your Admin account when waking the Mac up, and we'd like to see if we can help out with that.
Which version of macOS Big Sur are you using? You can check at the Apple menu > About This Mac. For reference, the latest version is macOS 11.4.
Please try heading to the Apple menu > System Preferences > click Security & Privacy, then click Advanced. In here, turn off the "Log out after... minutes of inactivity" option, if it's enabled.
If that doesn't resolve it, we'd advise reaching out to Apple Support directly for further investigation. This link can help with that: Get Support
Cheers.

Thank you, this seemed to work. Don't understand why that option was turned out -- I didn't do it, on either my MacBook Air or my iMac.
LalitaX,
Excellent! We're happy to hear that was able to resolve it for you. It was our pleasure to help out. Have a great rest of your day.
Take care.
