My Apple TV Gen. 4 was working amazingly well until probably 2 updates ago. Now the remote isn't responsive. I have to click the menu or home button multiple times to get it to respond. It will also randomly fast-forward or rewind, completely ignoring the remote. I've reset it every time it's done this - and it's getting old. What is up with this?

Thanks for posting about your Apple TV issue here! We'd be glad to see how we can help you out with this. We understand that your Apple TV remote isn't responding properly to your commands. Do you experience this issue in every app you use, or do you notice any reoccurrence in specific apps?
Have you tried using the Apple TV Remote on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch? To isolate the issue further, we'd recommend testing the issue out on another device if you have one available to do so. You can learn how to set this up by following the steps in Set up the Apple TV Remote on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
If you find the issue is only with your physical Apple TV remote, try out the troubleshooting steps listed in If your Apple TV remote isn't working.
