I have and activation lock on my ipad and I cannot log into it as I forgot my password and now it is disabled. I have tried to unlock it on a different device but it keeps saying my Apple ID is not valid or supported. So I am now locked out of my iPad and I don’t know what to do.

Without proof of your identity via security questions and other carefully selected criteria, Apple Support can't help you reset a password or perform any other actions on your account. These policies are audited and reviewed on a regular basis.
The passcode lock—and resetting that—are separate from Activation Lock.
If you’re stuck at an Activation Lock prompt here, contact Apple Support.
Without the Apple ID and password associated with the Activation Lock, the only paths to reset Activation Lock all involve discussions directly with Apple Support. Use the Get Support link in the upper right.
