how do I get the screen to rotate when I rotate t he phone

There are 2 requirements:

• Rotation lock must be off
• The app you are trying to rotate must support both portrait and landscape mode

Not all apps support screen rotation. For example, the Home screen on most phones does not. To check if your phone’s rotation is working try an app where it should work, such as Photos, Safari or Calculator.
