my power button won't work or let me restart my phone, and I'm unable to get my phone to open apps.

all buttons on my phone won't work and neither will the screen. how am I able to shut off or restart my phone because the power and volume buttons aren't working and my screen isn't frozen I just can't get on any apps

the power button and apps will not work Nothing will open, not one app. When I swipe to clear my apps it shows a grey screen and I tried to force restart my phone and it won't work.

Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears (15-30 seconds)

The operative word here is QUICKLY
