It sounds like you would like to know how to check an iTunes Gift Card balance. Apple Gift Card balances can be checked here: Check Your Apple Gift Card Balance. However, if this is an App Store and iTunes Gift Card that can only be used in those apps, the card would need to be redeemed to check the balance.
