Can't accept family invite on android ..!

Hello,

I would like some help concerning my family subscription. I currently have a family share music and already have 2 people. I'm trying to invite my sister to the app for 2 months now and still the same problem. When she accept the invitation on her mail, she is redirected to the android version of the app but is asked to "Try for free" or "Buy subscription" .. On my phone I only see the "Invitation sent".

She was already in the family once with the same email, but I removed her. Now when I'm readding her, the above porblem occurs.. I even invited her from her other email but in vain ..

Help please ..

Hey Vish, I think there's an active bug that prevents an invite from opening. I was able to get around it by using the "upcoming" version that's not public yet. You can enroll from the Google Play Store page for Apple Music, accept the invite, then leave the program, delete the app and reinstall it again to get back to the current version.......

Hope that makes sense, but unfortunately if I use the wrong words....they auto-delete comments =(

We appreciate you following up with us on this issue! Make sure on their device they follow the steps listed here exactly: Use Family Sharing with Apple Music on Android. Updating their Apple Music app is a great idea as well if they haven't done so already.

Oh, actually! Did they send you the invite from iOS?

Just go open the link on a computer it may let you accept it over the web! Or copy and paste into Chrome onto Android and if it asks if you want to open in Apple Music or Chrome just choose Chrome.

From your post we see you are running into some trouble with accepting an invite to family sharing. We want to get that issue resolved! There are a few limitations in regards to joining a family that could be affecting this invite. Has your sister been a part of another family sharing group in the last year? Have you checked to see if she is currently part of a different family sharing group? This article has more information: Set up Family Sharing.

Hi rose ,

unfortunately she is not . She’s just signed in on the app but without any subscription. I had invited her once and had to remove her but i cant get her back in even though she created another account yesterday.. its been 3 months trying to fix but no luck at all ..

Yes i sent from my ios to an android. i even tried opening on chrome . Didn’t work. Maybe i will try again today . Hopefully it goes well. Thank you 🙏🏼

Hello,

we did everything and the app is at the latest . Unfortunately when she click on the mail , she is redirected to the android app and asking to subscribe or try for free .. created account account but doesn’t work and on the family share it shows “invitation sent”.
