Backup Iphone

Hellow everybody.

i hope you have a wonderful day. I want to backup my iphone into icloud as i will purchase the new iphone soon. Will all my data especially ny whatsapp messages will be backup as well?

when i restore to the new iphone, will my whatsapp messages (with photos,documents) will be restored up to the latest messages?
