Hi,
I recently created a playlist on Apple music with the intent to share it with the person I made it for. I have all the songs added and the list is created but when I went to share it; I do not have that option like I do on the "Most Played" playlist. There is no where that even says "Share playlist". What have I done wrong?

Sharing music can be done through the share sheet: How to share music to Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device
If you prefer, you can still use your Apple Music profile to share with followers as well: See what friends are listening to in Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android device

I don’t feel like this reply is not helpful, as I have created playlists in apple music and been able to share via text message to my daughter, however, she is unable to share ones she has created with me, in any capacity.
Same... Older playlists are still shared from my child to me (always been under a child account with Family Sharing), but they can't share their own new playlists with me. No problem for them to share a list that I shared with them, nor do I have a problem sharing a list with them. They just can't share their new lists.
