[BOOTCAMP] Very low FPS in game

Hello everyone,

I'm currently using a Macbook Pro (2019) 16go RAM, with the Raden Pro 5500m graphic card.

I'm using bootcamp to play games on steam.

I used to play apex legends on average 60 fps, with ultra low setting (1080p) wich was a bit strange considering the graphic card is quite good. Anyway, i was ok with that.

Recently, it happens that i can't reach more than 20 fps in the training area. Every thing is so slow, even the game menu, it is an absolute nightmare to navigate.

I'm using the "Radeon Pro" software wich is up to date, playing with my computer plugged ...

I spent the whole day looking for a solution, and i'm tired right now.

I can understand that this card might be not the best for "gaming", but i just don't get why my experience with it is going worse and worse.

Please help me, i will stay here to answer all your questions that can help me solving this problem.

Thank you a lot for reading this message,

Best regards,

Louis

Hello and thank you for your answer.

I did a SMC and NVRAM reset, the performances are way better.

After a moment, I hear the fans, and the computer start to be a little hot, and the performance decrease ... I start to lose some FPS.

I still feel like it doesn't work like the first day, but it might be me. Maybe that cheap plastic case from amazon doesn't help the fans to cool the whole thing ...

Thank you again
