Old passcode not recognized

I changed my passcode. To continue using I cloud, it asks me my old passcode. I proceed to put it but it says that it is wrong when I just literally changed to a new one so I know that the one I am writing is the old one

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Do not confuse passcode (to unlock your device's screen) with Apple ID password (to access iCloud and/or iTunes& App Store).

That said:

Apple ID password:--> If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

Passcode:--> If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled
