My imac suddenly restarted automatically and a green vertical line started appearing... I tried to restart...to see if it goes..but it still doesn't...I took a screenshot of the screen...but the green line doesn't appear in the screenshot.. please help
You have been provided with recommendations. If the computer is obsolete please take it to your local independent Apple Authorized Service Provider to be professionally diagnosed. If it is not classed as Obsolete you can take it to your nearest Apple Store.
Either the display or the Logic Board. Regardless, the Apple Store will figure it out, as long as your Mac isn't obsolete or vintage.
