Backup password

While backing up my data on iTunes for a later date I forgot the backup password and have no way to retrieve my photos or videos

Sorry but without the backup password, there is no way to restore that backup. There is no way to reset an encrypted backup password.

Do you use a Mac? If so, have you checked your Keychain to see if it is stored there?
