When I try to search a contact (some, not all) for a phone call they are not showing up. They do however show up on my "Recents" and on whatsApp.
Been an iphone user for many years and this has never happened before. Is there a way to fix this?.

For example only contacts synced via iCloud or from an email account? Make sure the proper settings are enabled in Settings > Siri & Search > Contacts as well for what you prefer appears.
