Apple Pay outside the US

I’m attempting to add a card to Apple Pay but there is no option to do so on my device, I’m currently located in the Dominican Republic and my carrier is also local. What can I do to fix this? Before moving here my previous device had full functionality and Apple Pay is widely accepted here.

In order to use and set up Apple Pay, you do need to be in a supported region where that feature is available. Checking our feature ability, it does not seem that the Dominican Republic is listed as a supported region. You can read more about the requirements for setting up Apple Pay here:
