Zip Files

My computer is trying to open a .zip file using console instead of unzipping the files. Any suggestions on how to make Archive Utility the default to open zip files? I can't figure it out.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.4

locating Archive Utility in the OS? i downloaded winzip demo for some PC type compressed archive and now all my zipped archives try to open with this software that i didn't buy. so i am trying to set the OPEN WITH action to Archive Utility but i can never find it in APPLICATIONS or in APPLICATIONS ? Select the zip file and bring up it's Info pane. In the open with sections set it to Archive Utility.app and then click on the Change All button.
