extract sender addresses from email in my inbox...
I have a mailbox where'd I'd like to export/extract the senders addresses to make a mailing list.
Is there some 'elegant' way to do so other than copy and paste?

No.
You can add an address individually to the Contacts through Mail, but it's not much more useful than copy/paste.
Click the popup menu for each name and choose Add to contacts.
Then add each to a group.
A mailing list is just a Group in Contacts.
