please help me, I'm trying to install webwork app on my macbook pro running OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan and I’m getting an error “.pkg can’t be installed because its digital signature is invalid”. I really need this app for my work, please help and advice. I already tried some steps from the internet and it didn’t work for me T_T

Are you certain that you can install this app on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.
This is now quite an old OS and most newer apps are not compatible with it.
If it is a problem with the date of the digital signature you could try changing the date and time to
an earlier year and see if it will install. If the app then installs then you can reset the date and time
back to todays date.
System Preferences> Date & Time> Date & Time
uncheck Set date and time automatically
change the date to something like June 9th 2017.
Try installing this software.

I was able to install the application that I need. What I did was by contacting the app dev, and they provided me a different link where to get the app. Peace
