Why does the background of my projector slide changing colour when I take pictures of it?

Every time I take a picture of my projector screen, the slide changes colour. It only shows when the picture is taken. The slide is supposed to be white. When I tried taking multiple pictures of the same slide by repeatedly pressing the shutter. The background colour are different. I am using an iPhone 12 mini and don’t have this problem with my old iPhone 6. Is there any way to remove this?

Hi, thanks for the reply. iOS version is currently at 14.1. I only have the issue when taking pictures of my projector screen. I also have no issues with taking pictures of the same slides presented on television. Will try the helpful resources listed above. Since it’s not the latest iOS version, I will install the newest version and try the camera again.

Hello CindyLiaw.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're experiencing issues when using your camera to take photos. Specifically, you're taking pictures of a projector and the background is suppose to be white but they're coming out in different colors. Allow us to investigate this issue further and and assist in any way we can.

To confirm, is this issue only occurring when taking photos of your projector or does it occur while taking pictures of other things? Which iOS version are you currently using? You can find your iOS version by going to Settings > General > About. We ask because if you have any pending updates available, it would be best to create a backup and update your device. Keeping your device fully updated can help resolve various issues and help with overall performance.
