Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
If your iPad is a 2014 iPad Air 2, that iPad is nearly 7-years old now.
It is entirely possible that the internal, rechargeable battery has failed/died and your iPad maybe dead.
I strongly suggest you search online to locate and call contact your nearest, “local” Apple Store location to try/attempt to make an appointment to get your Apple iPad diagnosed and options presented to you.
