IPad Pro - Strange Problems

My new IPad Pro installation process is causing issues:

  1. Using my MacBook to synchronise my music files I am getting only a fraction of the content with no cover art showing at all and no completed files despite seeing the process in action.
  2. I have missing mail despite my mailboxes being set up correctly.

IT doesn’t help that my expensive Apple USBC CONNECTOR has no pass through to connect to another USBC connection on my Pro. The spare outlet is for USB and HDMI and I am eating battery power.

I have numerous Apple products so am pretty convergent with setup procedures and only recently did a full install on an IPad 2 with a new battery where the exchange product did not identify the old backup so same procedures used with no problem (except frustration no one told me)

Any ideas please?

Thanks for the response and I was aware they existed but feel an apple connector that provided power and an extra slot for pass through (not usb) was a missed opportunity.

Had I realised the task would be so slow and buggy I would have possibly bought something cheap.

I now have my music over a day later and am now laboriously dealing with my book library.

Download all should not be too much to expect given hard drive options nowadays.

There are alternative third-party USB-C Hubs that feature pass-through USB PD (Power Delivery) Fast Charging over USB-C, additional USB Type-A and USB-C ports, HDMI, Ethernet, HDMI ports - and some also include SD and microSD Card Readers.

You simply need to identify the combination of ports that are most useful for your own application. Here are a few examples:
