DisplayPort MultiStream Transport MST

When does Apple plan to fully implement DisplayPort 1.2 into macOS, especially with DisplayPort 1.4, and DisplayPort 2.0 standards already released and being implemented by multiple hardware manufacturers?

Most Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C docks, as well as DisplayPort monitors require MST to connect multiple monitors to a single computer. Many high resolution displays 4K and higher, also require MST to support their highest resolutions and refresh rates.

Apple has made a lot of inroads into enterprise environments in the last 5 years, and much of that is because of their move to industry standard ports, and greater cooperation with industry solutions providers. It would be great to see them finally get on board with VESA and industry standard display protocols!
