If I restart my phone does it delete my information?

If you don't know your lock screen passcode or your device is disable, you can't just restart the phone. You MUST erase the phone using your home computer, with iTunes and yes your information will be deleted in the process. If you've been backing up your phone, you'll be able to restore your backup after you've erased the device. If you haven't backed up your phone, your data will be gone.
