Iphone transfer stuck on 16 minutes

My iPhone XR transfer was stuck on 16 minutes remaining for over six hours. I finally shut the new phone off for a minute and turned it back on than shut the old phone off for one minute and turned it back on and everything finally completed! Good Luck!!
