Iphone transfer stuck on 16 minutes

My iPhone XR transfer was stuck on 16 minutes remaining for over six hours. I finally shut the new phone off for a minute and turned it back on than shut the old phone off for one minute and turned it back on and everything finally completed! Good Luck!!

I would like to use my phone. New phone appears to work fine but I can’t close down the old one or it asks if I want to cancel the transfer.
