My NEW (2021) Apple Siri Remote will NOT pair with my current Apple TV
4K. I've tried every suggestion and still nothing.

THANK YOU!!!! Updating the Apple TV software did the trick! Even though I had "automatic updates" in the settings, manually updating was what was needed. Apple needs to fix that. Could have saved a LOT of frustration.
