Hi, is there a sound mixer app that works well on mac that I can use? Unfortunately, macOS does not offer this possibility, unlike Windows. I want to turn down the volume of the Zoom application and increase the volume of Chrome, but when I turn the volume down from the Zoom application, it also turns down the main volume of the computer. I tried Background music but it deletes itself when I download it and does not work.

Please also note that, “If you use apps that have volume controls (for example, Music or iMovie), their settings can only be equal to or less than the computer’s output volume. I was going to try Audacity, but differed to Sound Control for routing around as I didn't need a full on mixer for other things, more a router to control the different programs such as Zoom or Safari separately. It's working great.
you can have a look at Audacity. it works pretty good. and it's free so no harm in trying it if it doesn't work like you need it to.
