Can i swap between different icloud accounts for different profiles?

Sorry, I was so focused on the changing iCloud accounts for different profiles that I didn't notice this was on a computer. You still can't change between profiles in a single computer user account but you can if you use different computer accounts. Then it is more a matter of swapping between computer accounts set to a profile rather than changing iCloud settings on an account.

Yes, but now we're talking about something different from the scenario first presented. You can have multiple user accounts on a Mac and each one should have their own Apple ID with their own configuration in each account. You cannot have multiple user accounts on a iPhone or iPad.

It isn't like a computer where you can have multiple users. Configuration of an iPhone is more low level. For example, you can have two sets of apps. You would have to delete the other set when you changed IDs, then download your set, then delete your set and re download the other set each time you switched back and forth.

The act of signing in opens up the iCloud profile belonging to that ID. The problem is, when the other person signed in it would ask if that person wanted to deep the things for that ID that are on the phone and merge them with their things, or delete them on the phone.

So there isn't really any way to have two IDs use the same device without essentially erasing the entire device each time and restoring it from a backup of the profile you want..

Yes you could but the system is not set up for you to do that regularly and you would have to be careful when you do this so you don't start combining items between the two profiles. Depending upon how much separation you want to have you might find you need to change multiple things. For example, email accounts are separate settings. You would also end up with a mixture of apps from both accounts which may be a good or bad thing depending upon your exact objective in doing this.

Guess it is possible. Would need to log completely Out one Account and have a second Account on the computer associated with the Second iCloud Account.
