Can you share AirTag location with family?

These seems like a missed opportunity by apple - being able to share the airtag with family (or for that matter business users) seems like a pretty good idea, so long as the person it is being shared with is able to consent and opt in (and perhaps a periodic confirmation in case someone has accessed their device or approval without them knowing) - eg car keys, pets, bicycles etc

It is a bit ridiculous that these can't be shared with family members or just shared like you share your location in Find My with friends.

I have a tag on our on dog, but my wife and my daughter can't track him. That's pretty sad. Do we need to add three AirTags on my dog's collar so we can all track him? LoL.

I just bought 8 of these, with the plan of moving away from Tile, but I now realize that they're pretty much useless to me. My wife and I share most of the things we'd want to track. Keys seem the most obvious use for AirTags, as well as the most likely item that would need to be shared. Please Apple, add sharing.

I have a car keys that we share with my wife on her Apple ID so when I need to find the keys I need to find my wife first

Just bought a 4 pack to help my mom track my dad who is starting to wander off as a result of Alzheimer's. My siblings and I have access to track his phone and thought it would be the same with AirTag! Big miss. This would reduce the stress for our whole family with the sharing ability...

Yes, Apple, please add this as a feature in a future update. Bought these to put on our dogs, and would love for both my husband and I to be able to see where they were if they ever got lost.

I love the new AirTag, but it really needs to include family sharing just like devices. It would be helpful for my wife and I to be able to use our iphones to locate a child's backpack or similar item. It would also be wonderful if Apple would build this into AppleTV remotes.
