It sounds as though your iPad is either signed in to a different Apple ID for the iTunes Store, App Store, and other Apple features. If so, this is managed directly through the iPad itself, not through the Finder or Music on your Mac. You can sign out of the current Apple ID, and back in to the correct Apple ID via Settings > [your name], then tap Sign Out. If you're having a different issue such as with the Mail app, and wanting to set a default account that's used when sending emails.
