Pages, Keynotes and numbers crashing

You could save others a great deal of time, and redundancy by stating what you have done already. We are not clairvoyant when that information is omitted. I cannot reproduce your issues on either of the relevant last operating system updates or Pages version 11.1 — including on an iPad Pro gen 4 device.

If Pages is waiting until you "hit print" before crashing, it's probably not the same issue as identified in Par551's post that started this thread.

You've made no mention of Pages presenting this (or any) issue on your Mac. If that indicates you are not experiencing this issue while using "Pages for Mac" (which is the name and main topic of this community), I'd suggest reposting your question in the "iWork for iOS" community where the iPhone and iPad version of Pages (and of Numbers and Keynote versions for that OS) are the main topics.

Ensure that your iPad Pro Gen 4 is updated to iPadOS 14.6 and that you have visited the iPadOS App Store and updated Pages to v11.1.

Hi - I just upgraded my OS to 11.4 and it seems to have resolved it as I had the same issue. It was a new laptop so I thought it was on the latest OS but thought wrong :-) Good luck!
