Hello, I forgot my iPod passcode and do not have a computer to connect it per the

I purchased a new iPod and while setting up I forgot my passcode ( 4 digits ). The instruction to reset passcode requires connecting iPod to a computer. I only have an IPad which is incompatible with the iPod. How can I reset my passcode based on what I have described?

See the following from If you forgot the passcode on your iPod touch, or your iPod touch is disabled - Apple Support

You need a computer to follow these steps. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
