Turning off iPhone, anti theft

Hi, this isn’t really a question but more like a suggestion.

I think apple should really add a feature to their iPhones that makes you enter your password before turning off your iPhone as if your phone was stolen, the first think a robber would do it turn it off, but if they can’t turn it off you can still track it, and hence have a greater chance of getting it back.
