This may be a simple question, but is OS 11.0 compatible with installers geared toward OS X?

Hi, I'm only asking because I wish to download software from a source that doesn't regularly perform major upgrades on their installers/code-base all together.

Their installer is geared towards Mac OS X 10.13 (High Sierra) to Mac OS X 10.15 (Catalina) but not explicitly Big Sur.

I'm not sure to what extent the new major release is backwards compatible to the older releases in terms of the operating system architecture, but looking for general guidance with regards to OS X
