Touchscreen unresponsive

Prior to updating to iOS 14.6, my IPhone XR was working and responding normally. However, I am now unable to use the touchscreen as it has frozen completely. My phone is still receiving notifications normally, but I am unable to unlock my phone due to the touchscreen issues. Force restarting my phone doesn’t fix the problem as well. What should I do?

Change 3D or Haptic Touch sensitivity on your iPhone

Go to Settings and tap Accessibility.
Tap Touch, then tap 3D & Haptic Touch. Depending on the device you have, you might see 3D Touch or Haptic Touch only.*
Turn on the feature, then use the slider to select a sensitivity level.

I think the problem here is touchscreen becoming unresponsive. in such case, how can we even go to settings and try your suggestion?

i also have similar problems after upgrading to ios 14.6 . no solution yet.
