How do I reveal the Wi-Fi password or security key for a saved network that I’m connected to already?

How do I reveal the Wi-Fi password or security key for a saved network that I’m connected to already?

Hi there,
It is not possible to view these passwords from an iPhone, but it is possible from a Mac. To do this, you need to have iCloud Keychain enabled on both your iPhone and Mac. The passwords can then be found in the Keychain Access App on the Mac. Simply open the app, go to the login keychain, then type network password in the search bar in the top right corner of the app. All the networks you've connected to on both your Mac and iPhone should appear in the list below, which you can double click to access. As long as the Show password checkbox is ticked, you should be able to see the password to whatever network you're looking for.
