iPhone 12 Pro Max won’t turn on…just new & open box.

If you've charged it for that long and it hasn't turned on, bring it back to the store and ask for an exchange. It does sound like something is wrong with that phone.

Did you order it from Apple?

Try charging it for an hour or so and see if it will boot aftewards.
