There IS a way, but you have to use Parallels software AND use the developmental version of Windows 10 compiled for the ARM. It works great. If you don't need the speed and efficiency of the M1 processor- and want something easy, then I agree you should stick with an Intel mac for now.

• Use Parallels and install Windows Insider Preview (ARM), or,
• Use QEMU

If you are within the return time period for your Mac, consider an Intel Mac.
