Apple Watch bands 38/40 and 42/44

A while back people were asking if a 38 band can fit 44. On Amazon I bought over 3, 38/40 mm bands for my new Series 6- 44mm watch and they fit my 44 band. I lined them up and the 38/40 band is not even a pinch literally smaller in the sliding part but you can’t tell it’s smaller at all.. and width of bands are the same. Bands were Oxwallen brand the scrunchie cute watch bands.
