iPhone heating up after 14.6 iso update

My iPhone 12pro max is heating up a lot after new iOS 14.6 update. It heats up consistent when watching any kind of video or YouTube or browsing. Sometimes it freezes the brightness. Even if you try to up and down the brightness it stuck at same level. I thought it may change the settings but nope settings are same no auto brightness is on. Any helpful advise will be helpful.

thanks

thanks For reply Karina, I am not sure if it is caused by ios update or what because my phone get too warm inside the house while using YouTube and sometimes just using a browsing app. It suddenly dim the display and freezes. I didn't see any warning on the phone that your phone temp got high. Please cool down the temperature. It is happen more frequently when it get warm while using apps. I just bought the phone like a month ago from T-Mobile.

Thanks
