Side load apps on new Mac OS

Hello people. Does new Mac OS Monterey have support of side load apps or blocked like in 11.3 and newer?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

"no longer possible unless the application is available on the Mac App Store. Apple has flipped the necessary sever-side switch to block iPhone and iPad applications from being installed on Apple Silicon Macs"

For those reading here that might be momentarily puzzled or concerned by some of the phrasing used here, this is to side-load iPhone or iPad apps onto an M1 Mac, and not to side-load Mac apps onto an M1 Mac.


Side-loading Mac apps onto a Mac works fine.
