Connecting my apple watch

i just purchased a Apple five watch from Market place and received it through mail yesterday and I cannot connect the device to my iPhone or iCloud due to their iCloud account is still connected I have reached out to the person that I bought it from and i haven’t got a hold of them. I just don’t know what exactly to do?
