My husband's phone was lost (with location services disabled). I'd like to ensure that if found no one is able to access his information. I've logged into the "iCloud Find my Phone" website. I see I have two options:
If I select "erase phone" will all of the information is in his iCloud be erased?! I obviously don't want that. We'll be getting a new phone and connecting the new phone to his iCloud.

No, only the phone will get erased as soon as it goes online and iCloud sends the command.
The data in his iCloud remains just as it is.
