The reason for not installing the Instagram application

First, what exact version of iOS/iPadOS are you currently using? We ask as the menus and options can change slightly between versions of the OS, and we want to make sure we provide the most accurate steps. You can locate this by going to Settings > General > About. Also, have you tried deleting the icon, restarting and reinstalling the application? Finally, have you check to see if Instagram has had any recent outages that would effect the download of there application?
