I can't find the wallet or apple pay icon on my iphone12

Apple Support Communities is a great place for help! It sounds as though you're wanting to use the Wallet application on your iPhone, and also set up Apple Pay. You mentioned not being able to locate the Wallet application. Are you able to us the Search on your iPhone to locate the app? This can be accessed by swiping down the screen when on the Home screen, or by swiping right. If you're able to locate the Wallet app you should see the folder name next to the app name in search to help locate the app more easily.

If you're unable to locate the app there is a possibility that you may restrictions enabled in Screen Time for that app. You can find the steps for enabling and disabling this feature in the following article.
