I got locked out of my computer, can’t remember the password, but don’t have any option of reset password or any other key I can press on.
I am connected to the same apple account on my mac, iphone and ipad, bur couldn’t find any way to access from those devices
Reset Password
Intel Computer
1 - Restart computer and immediately hold Command + r keys
2 - Top Tool Bar >> Utilities >> Terminal
3 - Copy and Paste resetpassword as one word and no spaces
Press Return key
4 - Follow the prompts and remember the New Password
M1 Computer
1 - Choose Apple menu > > Shut Down.
2 - Press and hold the power button on your Mac until you see “Loading startup options.”
3 - Click Options, then click Continue.
4 - Top Tool Bar >> Utilities >> Terminal
5 - Copy and Paste resetpassword as one word and no spaces
6 - Press Return key
7 - Follow the prompts and remember the New Password

Thanks, I can’t reach the apple menu, I dont have any options to click on.
I tried to force quite the computer using command+option+esc, but didn’t work either.
I am using an M1 computer
Shutdown the Computer by whatever means necessary including Power / Touch ID ( same button ) and hold until it turns off. Then follow previous instruction for M1 Recovery Mode.
