4014 error

Hello there,

We have an iPhone 6s that we are trying to restore via iTunes. We were able to download the iOS files from iTunes, but when it came to the step to "extract software", iTunes gave us an Error code 4014- An unknown error, possibly having to do with corrupted files on either the iPhone or MacBook pro. Any idea how to fix this? We would love to have thew device operational for us.

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

iPhone X software has collapsed and restart efforts (100+ times taking hours) including your referenced article are not helping. I need to speak to someone as I am in Cyprus and the only link is only available in Greek. I can post 100's of Console error reports if that would be of any use? Depending on the time of the day I get errors 9, 4005, 4014 or 4014. I bought a MacBook Air (Big Sur) to ensure that I have the latest software and new cables. Who can I talk to and when?
