iPhone 12 Pro Max gets hot with Apple Podcasts

I just received my brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max and the iOS is fully up to date, but when I try to play Apple Podcasts, the upper-back of the phone heats up so hot, I can barely hold it. It hasn’t done this with any other apps and no matter how many apps I have open. But each time I try to use Apple Podcasts, this happens. I even switched to Spotify to listen to the same shows and no heat. This seems like a big hardware glitch, especially for one of Apple’s own apps. This is a scary issue that at the very least will compromise the battery life. Can Apple please have someone investigate this issue and publish a patch? Until then, I will no longer be using Apple Podcasts.
